Today we went to the Natural History Smithsonian Museum and the American History Smithsonian Museum.
CITRUS: alright so you know how people always boast about how they stayed up late as kids and like NEVER slept. yes well that is a lie. all of it. there is no honor of staying up. nor is there any energy or love, just hate filled sadness and regretting everything in your life. you are all of a sudden thinking about quitting everything that involves opening your eyes because you are too dang tired. this is how i felt this morning and this feeling has not stopped. and it gets worse:
ive always thought about how, in life, different people are different types of happy in the morning; like im happy in the morning because i get to do something(normally) other people are just happy they woke up and some happy because something happened when they woke up. (others are just unnaturally happy and i advise you to stay away from them) but im also a true believer that some people wake up mad in the mornings, just angry at the world for no reason other than the fact that they had to wake up. today, i hated the world. and it was mostly my fault i didnt get to sleep until late and i woke up early so i was kind of asking for the rushed delivery of 1 bad mood at 700 in the morning and i defiantly paid extra. after that little spill id like to talk to you about blisters( i know, nasty little things) anyhow, i have managed to get these little buggars on my foot and id like to express to you that(given i would wake up with new ones in the morning(new feet i mean)) i would saw mine off myself.( also i feel this need to be said because i havent exactly said this but shout out to jany just cause i loves her and shes nice to me (and shout out to the girls im my troop because we are literally a family and i know because we fight)) alright moving on... this past week i have participated in a game called "i have a hat" i hate this game and everything about it. i advise all peoples to stay away and if you absolutely must play then please do so with caution. thats all on the subject of "the hat game" so we visited some pretty cool places today and did some cool thing like i found out that skeletons are chill and bugs are cool. we (me, scholar and cat nip) also checked out a really cool mummy exhibit that was super cool. ALSO I REALLY LIKE GLOWING ROCKS LIKE IF YOU EVERY GIVE ME PRESENT GIVE ME THAT LIKE WOW so after that we went down to the second museum and just fooled around haha it was cool but i dont think any of us took any of it very seriously haha. the first lady's' dresses were really cool and i would have worn like three of them which is super cool. after that we went to one of the most crowded place i have ever been: the metro at rush hour (doll actually got left at the other station it was so crowded) and i accidentally slapped a man because i mistook his arm for scholar and wow i have never been more terrified or embarrassed on my entire life like i was shaking it got bad. after that we got ice cream and then went home. sadly this was my last day with the scouts. it sure was fun haha love you darlings <3
Cat Nip: I forgot to talk about the guards of the Unknown Soldier. Honestly, it reminds me of marching band (or at least what it is supposed to look like). *Can see self doing that* I would only have to be out for thirty minutes. Onto today! So, the natural history museum was cool. I got to see Lucy, the oldest primate bones found. And I did a few more things not of note other than adding to my collection of cat ears and tails a pair of wolf ears. Now all I have to do is find or make a tail. The American History was cool, I liked all of the trains and boats. We also found out the answer to the Hat game. Rush hour is not fun. And I was going to say something, but I cant remember... X3 I love you guys and my BF. Have a great day!
Meow,
Cat Nip
Hello Friends, Padawan here. Oh so very sorry about not blogging yesterday. :( I was too tired i fell asleep on the metro (almost). So Citrus just left. today was pretty fun actually. I got to touch BLUBBER! yesterday I was tired irritated sore and plain out annoyed with everything. I got wolf ears too and a white tiger plush. I FOUND POLAR BEARS! you don't know how HARD it is yo find polar bear plushies! but i did not get one sadly. I saw many different metromen today! beautiful metromen. I'm thinking of making my own blog when this one finishes... well that is it and May the force be ever in your favor Mr. potter. ( The Chronicles of Narnia) LUV YA ~<3
LOVE PADAWAN
Doll here! Feet are amazing things! So small in comparison to the rest of the human anatomy but LOADED with pain when tired and sore. Takes the fun right out of living. But I loved the Natural History museum today. It is just about the coolest place on earth! Hangin' with these girls this week has been awesome! Many faced challenges that they overcame. Too cool. Cat Nip actually was sardined in the Metro train and lived to tell about it. People were touching her and she didn't implode! Citrus is a trooper. If I ever have to have a backup person, I want that girl. She can soldier on like you wouldn't believe! It was sad to see her go today. This trip is amazing and I am so glad I am here with these people! Lacrosse, we wish you were here! Doll out.
Scholar: Today was disgustingly hot outside, from the moment we walked out the hotel doors. I'd forgotten how much I dislike summer. Anyway, I really enjoyed the Natural History museum (my favorite portions were the Human Origins and Mummy areas). We spent most of our day there, before going to the American History Museum. It was also interesting, but I preferred the previous one. I also revealed the answer to the Hat Game, and while Catnip and Padawan were amused, Citrus was angry. After we left there, I realized my love of the Metro's convenience is incredibly conditional. One train car didn't have air conditioning (and it wasn't crowded), and rush hour is all kinds of hell. Although, when Citrus tried to slap me and slapped a random man instead, it was the funniest thing I'd seen all day. We got overpriced ice cream, and went back to the hotel. Citrus left us, but I hope she enjoys her time in New York City!
Raccoon Killer: Citrus did not like the the "fancy" breakfast with the glass dishes. (June 8) However, she did get use to the waffles with whip cream and chocolate sauce. I had to get Citrus some mole skin for the blisters on her feet. Big & long blisters. We did our least amount of walking today, and yet all of our feet still hurt. We went to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. It was crowded with lots of school tours who were very loud and some were rude. My favorite parts were the Human Origins, Mummies, and Dinosaurs of course. Lunch was in the Atrium Cafe. We had packed a lunch. I went to get a drink. A 16 oz. paper cup for soft drinks came to $3.85- at least you could get refills. I must say, hotel tap water tastes good. After lunch we went next door to the American History Museum. My favorite part was the First Ladies section. I thought the Declaration Of Independence was there. But it wasn't or least none of us saw it. It was rush hour when we got to the Metro to head back to out hotel. It felt like a cattle shoot, as everyone pushed into the train. Then you felt like sardines in a can. We stopped at Union Station on the way back to get a ice cream and pastries. We had left overs from the night we had Italian that we ate tonight. We only had to cook some noodles for a couple of people. We way over estimated how much food and drinks we would need this week. We will be bringing a lot back home. Better to have too much than not enough. I have a confession to make. I am a Patch-a-holic. Every place we go, I go to the gift store first and buy 4 patches (one for each girl). Scholar said one day, "I think Raccoon Killer cares more for the patches then I do." I said, "You are probably right." The girls can put them on their vests or on the GS Patch Blanket. Citrus, I enjoyed spending time with you this week!
Lacrosse, Wish you where here!!!!
