Washington DC Trip: Day 4

Today, we visited the Sculpture Garden and the National Gallery of Art, as well as Ford's Theater.

CITRUS: and so it was. another day another story. nothing particularly interesting happened to me today, i mean since we didn't have to be but one place we all kind of had a free day.
it was nice but also kind of sore because of the bike riding yesterday. remember the breakfast thing the hotel had? well they also have waffles which are like the best breakfast thing besides bacon to me so i was very happy and top it off there was WHIPPED CREAM which just makes everything better by like 300% so yesa, it was marvelous;)  i haven't really worn makeup in two days and im starting to get either very uncomfy or slightly more comfy with it not being on, i just haven't decided yet.  uh.. i dropped my snow cone today..... im really running low on things to tell you folks... nothing really happened today. except for like a lot of talk about a hat... i hate that hat.... also RK got herself a fine whistle to keep us in tune (which is fine by me ive been called over by worse things) and today is the first day she used it haha. it was hilarious to her hahah. other than that though nothing really happened to me today,which is a rare thing indeed.


Cat Nip: I have a hat... I want to know what that pattern is. Ugg. Anyways, today was okay. The art gallery was cool, but the sculptures... there were mainly blocks. And one was literally a slab of metal... God help the people who think that is art. I also saw a Polloc painting, it is not worth even mentioning. There were these really nice sculptures that I liked. I am bad at writing postcards... BUUT! I got the cutest present for my little Jany poo. And a shout out to my boy, Trevor.

Hello friends, its me Padawan. UGH MY FEET HURT SO MUCH!!!! i have been bored with today all i see is "DO NOT TOUCH" gosh ima very touchy person (Jedi in training). YO shout out to my friends Susa-chan, Bri, Kenzie, Lara, Ivan, Mochi, and all dem pepoles! we went to the pool after we blogged i think i am not quite sure. I have a hat i handed it to citrus. . . GOSH SCHOLAR SAWP GETTING IN MY HEAD! it was a pretty uneventful day. . . . . . well im running out of things to say .......METROMEN. . . Susa you will get this ok. LUV YA ~<3

Raccoon Killer: Today was a great day!  We went to the Sculpture Garden which is part of the National Gallery of Art.  I took a picture of everything. Then we went into the National Gallery of Art. We did some shopping. Then we had lunch on the steps of the National Gallery of Art.  After lunch we got all got an ice cream treat from a sidewalk vendor.  We ate that on the way to Ford's Theater.  We got there early, so we went into a Washington D.C. gift shop.  Mostly thanks to Citrus, the Ford's Theater was on our list of things to do in WDC.  Personally at the time we where planning this trip, I could care less about going to Ford's Theater. But it was their trip and didn't say too much about it.  However, I ended up enjoying it VERY MUCH.  Everyone ended up waiting for me to get through the Museum.(Like we waited on Scholar at the Spy Museum.) Thanks, Citrus!!!  And YES, I do have a very fine whistle.  Only Citrus heeded its call.  Good going Citrus. Catnip & Padawan shook it off pretty quickly.  Scholar is still mad at me hours later.  She did not want me to pack the whistle in the first place. Like the t-shirt I saw someone wearing today said, "Embarrassing my children is just one of the services I provide."  I need to get me one of those t-shirts.  I also do not have the hat nor do I care to catch it or throw it.

Scholar: The sculptures, paintings, furniture at the art museum were cool. They had way overpriced stuff at the gift shop (I mean, $355 for a scarf? Pretty, but not worth that much). Ford's Theater was alright. Oh, to clarify on what the other girls were complaining about, it's a game a friend showed me, that I have introduced to the others in the troop. It's a riddle about passing and throwing hats in the air (and there is a pattern/method to who catches the hat next, even if the others believe it to be otherwise), and its a game that's not a lot of fun once the secret is out (so... I'm not telling them until Thursday or until someone finds out. If you know, please please don't share it here). As for the whistle that RK finds so delightful (really the only person who does), it feels like that scene from The Sound of Music when Maria stops Captain von Trapp from calling his children with a whistle...in reverse. My reasons for disliking it have little to do with embarrassment, and more to do with the fact that I am not a dog, and do not appreciate being called like one. If we were in a crowded place, and all separated from each other, I entirely understand the use of the whistle. I also understand I probably shouldn't have disobeyed. But that was not the case in the situation, and I am not apologizing for my actions. Now she just uses the whistle to antagonize me. But other than that, the day has been alright. Even better, for the first time I will not be up until 12 or later trying to get this blog posted.
